Description:
A 25 year old pregnant woman in her second trimester presented to our OPD with history of caterpillar hitting her Right eye one week prior. She had complaints of redness and watering of the right eye without any pain. Slit lamp examination of the Right eye revealed papillary conjunctivitis with caterpillar setae embedded in the lower tarsal conjunctiva, which were removed under topical anesthesia. Further examination showed embedded setae in the superficial and deep corneal stroma and a single setae in the inferior anterior chamber without iridocyclitis.
