Intraoperative image of a 1 year old child with persistent corneal edema which was not getting resolved with topical medications treated elsewhere. Examination under anesthesia revealed a bee sting with total corneal edema ,more intense at the site of bee sting impaction. It was removed with micro forceps and post operative steroids and cycloplegics resulted in resolution of corneal oedema. Note that corneal oedema will persist until the inciting agent is removed.
