Wide-field fluorescein angiography showing advanced Takayasu retinopathy. From the bright optic disc, markedly dilated and tortuous retinal vessels radiate outward in a crown-like pattern. The mid-periphery demonstrates extensive capillary nonperfusion with frond-like neovascularization and intense dye leakage at the borders of ischemic retina. These dramatic vascular changes illustrate severe ocular ischemia secondary to Takayasu arteritis.
