Collar in the orbit
I haven´t seen that before
With minor head injury, this patient underwent computed tomography (CT) of the head. The radiological 3-Dimensions (3D) bone window (for fracture detection) view incidentally showed up the left eye silicone encircling buckle implants previously put in for retinal detachment, simulating a collar in the left orbit. Silicone is hyperdense on CT, thus shows up as per the hyperdense bony structure of the skull on bone window. Details of the position and size of the tire, position of the sleeve were shown too.
