Pearl Under Pressure: A Rare Primary Vitreous Cyst with Traction

Description:
Legend : Fundus photography shows features of pathological myopia viz a posterior staphyloma and patchy chorioretinal atrophy Additionally, there was a distinct, pearly fixed cyst situated near the optic nerve head (B – Black star). Optical coherence tomography (OCT) showing features of myopic traction maculopathy viz vitreoschisis, vitreomacular traction (A- white arrow head), and retinoschisis. OCT over the cyst revealed its fixed multilobular nature with hyperreflective septate within its substance (A- white star). Infrared imaging showed hyporeflectivity over the cyst (C), and fundus autofluorescence showed hypo-autofluorescence of the cyst (D).
